Hello Parents and Guardians,
We hope all is well! It’s registration time for our 2023 Emerald Gems 8th Annual Free U.S.V.I. Youth Basketball Camp! This year, our long-time NBA personnel and collegiate level camp coaches are back and would like to spend time with as many of our campers as possible, teaching them the game they love the most! Therefore, we’re also asking you to help us share the camp information with other parents and players.
The Camp is July 27 & 28 for Ages 8-13 and July 29 & 30 for Ages 14-17 from 9-3pm, at Ivanna Eudora Kean High School. Please register by Monday, July 10th.
The Emerald Gems Annual U.S.V.I. Youth Basketball Camp remains free, and although not guaranteed, our campers typically receive a jersey, shorts, shoes, basketballs, and more. Due to the pandemic, it’s been more challenging to secure donations of these items. Therefore, we do our best to provide as much as we can to our campers.
We’re looking forward to seeing our returning campers and meeting new ones too, along with their families. At our Camp, we will continue to focus on fundamentals of the game; teaching our youth on how to become better basketball players; and what it takes to succeed and be a positive contribution to society.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Emerald Gems does not require a proof of vaccine for COVID-19. Emerald Gems does take the health of all participants seriously. Therefore, because COVID-19 is easily transmissible, if your child has received a positive COVID-19 test during or within two weeks prior to the Camp and or is showing symptoms of COVID-19 on any day of the Camp, they should not participate.

All Forms must be completed and received before your child participates in the Camp.
COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
- Check-in required to record attendance.
- Face masks are preferred, but not required.
- Recommend hand washing and/or sanitizing throughout the camp day.
